Trivia

This episode contains one of the very early direct references to a bathroom in the history of television situation-comedies. What's more, the actual word 'bathroom' is used (in fact, more than once) here instead of a euphemism for it such as 'water closet', which had been occasionally allowed by the television censors. The use of the word 'bathroom' on a family-comedy show was truly shocking to most viewers in 1963. See more »
