Canada Day was two days ago, but it should probably be officially extended in order to celebrate the 30th birthday of Corey Sevier. He got his start as a child star, best known as Timmy for two seasons on the 1997 series remake of Lassie, and as Dan for two seasons on the series Little Men, but his adult career has been steadily growing, both on TV and the big screen
Speaking of steadily growing, so has his shirtless portfolio. So on his birthday, let’s take a look at the shirtless evolution of Corey over the last decade.
2004 – Decoys
2005 – North Shore
2006 – Gospel Of Deceit
2007 – Surf School
2010 – The Lost Future
2011 – Age Of The Dragons
2011 – 5th & Alameda
2011 – Immortals
2012 – Awaken
2012 – Osombie
2013 – Apartment 1303
Corey is currently starring on the Lifetime series Cedar Cove (which comes back for Season Two on July 19th), and while he hasn’t had any shirtless scenes yet, we have faith in him! »
Right on the heels of Universal moving Fast & Furious 7 up a week from April 10th, 2015, to April 3rd, Focus Features has announced some schedule changes of its own for 2015. Now, horror threequel Insidious: Chapter 3 will open not on April 3rd next year but May 29th. Furthermore, sci-fi drama Selfless has moved from February 27th to April 17th, and Oscar winner Kevin Macdonald’s treasure hunt drama Black Sea has been set for January 23rd.
Now, let’s look at those one at a time.
We don’t know much about Insidious: Chapter 3 other than that it will star The Grey actor Dermot Mulroney and A.N.T. Farm actress Stefanie Scott. Leigh Whannell is both directing and scripting this installment, and he is also expected to reprise his role as Specs. Also returning from previous installments will be Angus Sampson as Tucker and Lin Shaye as Elise Rainier. Unfortunately, Insidious »

Like a lot of iconic movie monsters, Dracula has had a rough time of it over recent years, with one of his most recent live-action adaptations – the NBC television series which starred Jonathan Rhys Meyers – lasting only a single season before being cancelled due to low ratings and a tepid critical response.
Perhaps then it’s for the best that Dracula Untold is taking the vampire back to basics as it strives to deliver a very different take on his early years. In this movie, the focus will be on Vlad Tepes (Luke Evans) as he strikes a deal a deal with dark forces in order to protect his family and protect his homeland.
Will we see his descent into the blood sucking villain that we all know so well from previous movies, or could the studio be looking at Dracula Untold as the first in a series of movies exploring Dracula’s early years? »

Just in time for Halloween, Dracula Untold opens on October 17th.

Just last week, Universal pictures debuted a pair of movie posters for their upcoming Dracula Untold, and they were pretty decent looking. It's a new and different take on the traditional vampire movie, incorporating the "history" of Vlad Tepish, with the mythology of the Dracula we all know. Today, they've debuted (officially) the first trailer for the movie, and it looks more like an action film than anything else.
It's not necessarily a bad trailer...it's just kind of generic. In all honesty this looks like it could be any kind of medieval fantasy movie, and the only reason vampires are in it is because it's got Dracula in the title. Because of this, I'm a little wary of this film. While I'm all about new kinds of vampire movies, I want them to be good ones. This first trailer feels way too generic, and shows off nothing of why it should stand apart. »

Universal has released the first Dracula Untold trailer. The movie tells the origins of the man who would become the infamous vampire. This trailer goes beyond the scant logline, and explains that Dracula started out as a good guy, but in order to protect his family, he had to become the bloodsucking bad guy we all know today. It looks more interesting than I thought it would be, and I really like the costumes. At the very least, there seems to be some potential for a good story rather than just pretty visual effects and cashing in on the brand. Hit the jump to check out the Dracula Untold trailer plus five new images. The film opens October 17th, and stars Luke Evans, Sarah Gadon, Diarmaid Murtagh, and Dominic Cooper. I Declare War will be available for digital download and on DVD from 30 June 2014 and to celebrate, we have 3 DVDs to give away!
I Declare War focuses on a group of 12-year-old friends whilst they play an innocent game of ‘Capture the Flag’ in the neighbourhood woods, arming themselves with nothing more than sticks, their imagination and a simple set of rules.
One afternoon the game takes on a more serious tone and the quest for victory pushes the boundaries of friendship, giving the would-be warriors a glimpse of the darker side of human nature. Will child’s play turn to something more real or will these boys battle it out and win the war?

The project, focusing on a 19th century British soldier trained in supernatural arts by hermits known as sadhus, was unveiled in March.
The story mirrors Dewil’s own life. During his late 20s he left his lucrative job at Ogilvy Advertising in South Africa to live with the sadhus of Vrindavan, India.
“Besides his evident skills as a filmmaker, Mukunda has life experiences so close to what’s in the graphic novels that he is the perfect fit for our project,” Hopwood said.

Universal Pictures has been keen on kickstarting their beloved "monster" movie properties for a while now. Their Werewolf reboot didn't do so hot, and recently they've lost another director for The Mummy remake, so things seem to be a little rocky right now. At least one thing is moving forward as planned, and that's their new take on the classic Dracula story. They've released a pair of new posters for you to enjoy, so come in and check them out.
Vampires have always been fascinating to people, and in pop culture they've become a big deal and have remained so for the last several years. Hollywood's love affair with the creatures of the night started with Universal's Dracula films, and they're hoping to recapture audiences interest with this new take on the iconic Count. This isn't the same story, instead it's a blend of historical facts (dealing with Vlad the »

Luke Evans is one of those actors who constantly seems to be on the verge of breaking out, without quite getting there. He’s appeared in lots of high-profile projects (Clash of the Titans, The Three Musketeers, Immortals, The Raven) and even a couple of pretty good high-profile projects (The Hobbit, Fast & Furious 6), without […]

Gavin O’Connor clearly likes a challenge. Having taken the helm of the troubled western, Jane Got A Gun – just 25 hours after original director Lynne Ramsay left, on the first day of production – he hit the ground running, and steered it to completion. With that job done and dusted, he has now signed on to a new project – Massacre In The Himalayas.
Inspired by an article by Freddie Wilkinson, that appeared in Men’s Journal in 2013, the story centres on real-life events that befell an international team of elite mountaineers as they attempted to climb Pakistan’s K2. While resting in their tents at the base camp below the Diamir face of Nanga Parbat, the group were attacked by armed men identifying themselves as Taliban. The assault left one solitary survivor from the group of 12 – a Chinese mountaineer named Zhang Jingchuan. In addition to being a seasoned climber, he was »
