Storyline

In an alternate universe, Detective John Sheppard is with the Las Vegas Police Department and begins to investigate a strange series of murders. This Sheppard is a bit down on his luck, over-promoted and barely getting by. What Sheppard is dealing with is a Wraith who has made it to Earth and is building a device to send out a signal of some sort. Of course, he has no idea what a Wraith is but a senior member of the Atlantis expedition, Rodney McKay, decides to take Sheppard into their confidence and tell him about the Pegasus galaxy and their fear that the Wraith is trying to send out a signal with Earth's location. While they succeed, they may have opened a rift with other parallel universes. This Dr. McKay, who is cool and smooth, actually visited Atlantis in another dimension once and wonders what may now happen there. Written by garykmcd

Goofs

In the scene near the end of the episode where the A-10 Thunderbolts make a strafing run, you hear the one plane firing what sounds like a heavy machine gun. The A-10 does not have a machine gun, it has a Gatling cannon (GAU-8/A Avenger) and when fired sounds like a short buzz because it fires supersonic rounds at 4,200 rounds per minute. See more »

What did I just watch
2 January 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I just have too saw this episode has too be the worst ever and having them announce that this was the last season in the middle of the season was really terrible. I got too like this show and was getting use too the cf characters of coarse they don't want any one too get too close

so people will go off there rocker but I thought this episode really was dumb and stupid.

Well that cast did pull off the alternate reality and I was a little impressed but not much plus they never made it clear how it happen but I liked it some what because it was set in Vegas and I like CSI Vegas.

I would really like them too make universe better if they are capable.
