Some dramatic license was used when describing the events of the Great Gale and the Black Monday stock market crash. In reality, the gale happened first (15/16 October 1987) and the stock market crash happened second (19 October 1987). However in this episode, to increase dramatic tension surrounding the effect on Eddie Wells' life, the events were described as happening the opposite way round.See more »
