Anachronisms: In the flashback, when young Earl calls the police from a phone booth, modern vehicles are clearly visible in the background rather than period-appropriate late-1970s and early-1980s vehicles. In addition, the police officer who responds to the call uses a small modern Taser rather than a larger early-generation Taser appropriate for the time period.
