When Munch is comparing the tattoos of the fake Heather and the real Heather, the camera juxtaposes the images. Munch says the real Heather's four-leaf clover tattoo leans to the right but the camera shows the tattoo leaning to the left. Then, when he says the fake Heather's tat leans left, the camera zooms in on the clover that leans right.
(At 26:25) Out of the several photos of Heather that are displayed on the computer screen, one of them shows a date stamp of the year 2006. However, that would not have been possible considering that Heather went missing in 2005, four years before this episode aired in 2009.
When the doctor says that type A blood is the only possible type for Heather because both her parents have A blood, he is not completely correct. If both parents also have the "O" allele, there is a 25% chance that she could have type O blood.
When the victim is being examined by the medical personnel, she is supposedly nude, but at one point, you can see the pasty covering one of her breasts.
Captain Cragen calls the photographer's camera a "35 millimeter digital camera". 35mm is a film format, so it is not possible for a digital camera to be a 35mm camera.
