The Beginning of the End (#15.16)

Warning: Spoilers
It was so great to see John Carter back. Yes, it is the beginning of the end. In many ways. For us viewers it is the beginning of the final episodes. But isn't it great to have one of the characters we loved for so many seasons from the start to come back? I liked how they made it that so many didn't recognized him. It is cray how many characters have changed since he left. It is great that Dr. Banfield didn't really resist him getting shifts would not be smart since they obviously want the viewers to like her as well. Can't wait to see him in his doctor coat doing his work. Yet it looks he is also very sick, the ending of the episode was shocking. I believe it was him getting chemo therapy, also I am not 100% sure, but definitely some serious medical treatment.

Dr. Banfield will most likely adopt a child. This was obvious from the start. But I like how they are leading her to see it as a good option. Seeing how much her support helped her niece back in the days, and the little girls who aunt raised her telling her how she was never bothered that it was not her biological mother as she loved her just like a real mother would. I actually have a feeling it might be Lucy she will adopt when her aunt won't get a heart.

I was also very happy to see David Eigenberg in this episode. He was one of my favorite men in Sex and the City and it was great to see him in such a different character. He definitely is a wonderful actor as he is believable in every way.

Yeah carter

Hate the way everyone treats Carter like he does not know what he is doing he is a legend and knows more than they all do put together. He isn't given enough respect. The rest of the episode is a bit silly hence why this hard hitting award winning drama series was coming to an end. Sad when you think back to all the amazing episodes before hand ...

CARTER!!!

Warning: Spoilers
An episode where the main character of the entire series comes back and he doesn't get screen time until the 12:30 mark. Embarrassing.

Until his return I saw Angela Bassett, John Stamos and every other character flash on my screen as I fast forwarded pas them. And then again with every scene they were in without Carter. The stories don't matter as they are boring, drawn out, carbon copies of previous episodes. Save Archie, Gerry and Frank the characters are lame blobs who move their lips and go through the motions.

Thankfully we're getting close to the end. Hoping for more original characters paying their respects to the show they had a hand in making the best drama on television for 6 years...the first 6 years.
