Rock Creek Wildlife Park keepers find their tiger is eating a large adult. He's identified as Cam's ex, Dr. Andrew Weldon, so she takes an exceptionally active part in this investigation. He was drugged and killed during a hospital benefit at that zoo, which Sweets reconstructs by hypnosis. Possible motives include Weldon's infidelity, his complex relationship with his daughter Michelle and his refusal to grant a major benefactor's gifted son Dr. Rick Annenberg a hospital post, which Rick didn't want. When Cam is explaining to Brennan about the salt and pepper shakers, the bear she has is light in color and has its paws raised up by its face. When Cam is speaking to Michelle in the next scene, the shaker she reveals as her half is darker in color and has its paws lower down. Too much Cam and Angela, not enough Brennan and Booth
The remains of a male are found in an animal den, and the remains are about as unpretty as this series has ever conjured up. I found the episode curiously weak, but maybe that's just me. Brennan seemed to play second fiddle in it to Cam, and I don't find Cam interesting enough to carry an episode. Also, we are subjected to Angela at her horniest and the horny Angela routine wore out its welcome a season or two ago. There is a really off-putting moment when the latest intern feels a need to introduce Angela, who has designs on him, to the guy's girlfriend. It should have been funny. It wasn't. Sorry to sound so sour, but this was not one of the series' better episodes, to put it mildly.
