In their new segment, Two Star Tuesday, Kristin and Brett discuss films that (somehow) survived the production process. They discuss the Good, the Bad, and the Redemptive- pulling what lessons they can along the way. This week's episode features the 2015 slasher film, Most Likely to Die. Let's be honest. While watching a blade-wielding psychopath chase down all those people you hated in high school sounds like a good time, this is a reunion we'd rather skip.

Have you ever sat down to complete a task- hopes high, big dreams, only for it to immediately crash and burn in the most ridiculous way possible? If so, this is the episode for you. Much like how the film struggles to make sense of things, we flounder our way through this week's Two Star Tuesday review of the 2008 horror, The Eye. By the end, we'll all wish we could unsee everything past the first 30 minutes.

Sometimes the best made plans slip right through our hands, and sometimes we lose months of work to aggressive Tennessee weather. In this episode, Kristin and Brett discuss the importance of backing up files, lengthening shots for ease of editing, and communicating within a creative relationship.

In this week's edition of Two Star Tuesday, Kristin and Brett describe a film that lives up to its title- The Disappointment's Room. What promises to be a masterpiece in the art of horror leaves us feeling as empty as the box office. Was the house haunted? Was she insane? Did they have a writers' room? All these questions and more, with a limited number of answers.

Between the leaky ceiling, Kristin's drawer of cockroaches, and Jax's strange new sex toy, this episode is full of distractions. Brett discusses Winston's origin story, Kristin struggles to remember her first horror film, and the maintenance man throws the entire conversation into chaos. If it ran smoothly, we wouldn't call it Mistakes Were Made.

The Rezort is what happens when a bad rendition of Jurassic Park meets a worse rendition of The Night of the Living Dead. This week, Kristin and Brett discuss the trick of using of a brilliant location to overshadow a lack of talent, the necessity of rules when working with the undead, and the importance of choosing your metaphor. There are more holes in this story than in the bodies at the target range, but everyone needs a good zombie flick to kick off the summer.

It seems no one is safe from poor critic reviews. To their dismay, this week Brett and Kristin find themselves discussing one of the films in a heavy hitting franchise - Friday the 13th. The 2009 release doesn't seem to know whether it's a remake, a sequel, or just a blood stained homage.

If rom-coms and long walks down the aisle weren't your thing, you're in luck. We're back this week with yet another horror film. In this week's edition of Two Star Tuesday, Kristin and Brett discuss Ghost House. This three-day stroll through the Thai countryside was an amazingly anticlimactic attempt at a haunting film.

If you're looking for films that are generically based on old folklore, doctors that just can't seem to put their lab coats down, and psychologists who may have slept through literally all of their training, this one is for you. But seriously...don't miss this film. The guilt may kill you.

Sure, you could spend your Father's Day flipping burgers on the grill...or you could be out saving an old man from the the unforgiving Tennessee sun, toasting to homemade wine, and destroying pizzas made from scratch...but who are we to judge? Stick around until the end of this episode for Brett's first ever sneak peek at a work in progress.

We know, it's Tuesday. You were sitting at home eagerly awaiting more cinema gold, but you'll just have to contain your excitement until next week. This week, Brett and Kristin toss out the show notes and take a much needed break. So pull up a chair, pour a drink, and come listen as they rant about how different writing styles translate to film, the best and worst Nicolas Cage films, and learning to conquer your fears.

Brett and Kristin could probably build a whole new apartment out the boxes full of Brett's books, but the packing is now underway. The left behind dust is freaking Kristin out though, which leads the pair into an exploration of how inconspicuous objects can be made terrifying and why it's important to let frightening moments breathe.

On this week's edition of Two Star Tuesday, Brett and Kristin discuss the 2017 psychological horror film, Clinical. They highlight the importance of misdirection, tension, and conflict in the horror genre by examining how this one got it all wrong in the last fifteen minutes. You either die the hero, or go on long enough to ruin a brilliant film.

Brett and Kristin's plans take a nosedive this week as they learn the importance of thoroughly reading their contracts before making other plans. The chaos continues as a man named Juice threatens the shop with haircuts, Kristin pours wine on Brett, and the duo weigh the consequences of shutting out the rest of the world.

When Brett has to go to work on his day off, Kristin has to pretend that she knows how to cook, and Jax desperately wants to be on the podcast, things can get a little messy. This week the team explores whether or not gender affects the art, the difference between novellas and novels, and whether or not Brett can convince people to steal hidden signed copies of his book from stores. Brett also flies solo for the first time, and Kristin gets uncomfortable because #mistakesweremade.

Will they be homeless? Won't they? Brett finds a new job in the undisclosed location, but the apartment hunt is still on. As the clock runs out, Kristin finds herself (un)fondly examining their dear old "diner" for one of the last times, and the pair discuss how observing your real environment can help to create fictional worlds.

On the eve of their big move, the long awaited episode about Zombeavers is finally here. Over 1k downloads later, Brett and Kristin revisit the infamous B horror film that helped to create their relationship. Big changes are in store, so thank you to the fans that have continued on this incredible journey. Here's to all of you.

Welcome to the first episode live from Montana. Three 10+ hour long days on the road, a misadventure with the jeep, a stuck trailer, a misplaced weapon, and several rowdy locals later, Brett and Kristin land amongst the mountains with different perspectives on life. It's a bittersweet moment as Kristin prepares to say goodbye for a little while, but for the first time, the pair realize just how much they're capable of accomplishing together.

Kristin is back. She somehow managed to survive the cross-country drive alone without killing herself or the pets, and Brett somehow managed to survive unpacking all of their belongings into their new third story apartment without killing anyone else. The winter may end up taking them out, but at least they're off to a good start.
