Match 1: Disco Inferno (c) vs Lash LeRoux for the Cruiserweight Championship - For some reason, every title always had to be defended for WCW on a pay per view. This was a very decent title match to open the show. Disco Inferno got a lot of heat for being a comic character, but he did have some wrestling skills. In the end Disco retains the title in a very good match.Match 2: The Filthy Animals (Billy Kidman & Konnan) vs Harlem Heat (Booker T & Stevie Ray) vs The First Family (Brian Knobbs & Hugh Morrus) in a Three Way Tag Team Hardcore match for the vacant WCW Tag Team Titles - A very short match. The hardcore wrestling wasn't particularly off the hook, but there were some nice spots throughout the match. In the end Harlem Heat captures the titles again after hitting Brian Knobbs with a plastic mummy backstage.Match 3: Eddie Guerrero vs Perry Saturn - Very good mid card match. These two were very serious wrestlers in the ring and had some very high success during their tenures in WCW. Guerrero had just returned this year to WCW and had the fans on his side in this match with Saturn. The end result would be that this is definitely not a match worth skipping when watch the tape. Guerrero wins via disqualification when Ric Flair attacks him with a crowbar.Match 4: Berlyn vs Brad Armstrong - Simple time filler for WCW. Nothing worth checking out. Brad Armstrong scores the win against Berlyn and after the match Berlyn and his bodyguard The Wall attack Armstrong.Match 5: Chris Benoit (c) vs Rick Steiner for the WCW Television Championship - A pretty good match. Steiner normally wasn't memorable for his wrestling, but this wasn't too bad. Benoit is a really good all around technical wrestler and carried some good wrestling out of Steiner. Dean Malenko comes out and hits Benoit with a chair in the end. Steiner is able to win the Television Championship.Match 6: Lex Luger vs Bret Hart - One good thing about WCW was that all the major people got a good spot on each event. This was a pretty decent match between Luger and Bret Hart, who both actually spent some time in the "WWF" before joining WCW. All in all it was a pretty nice match, Luger is able to win after making Hart submit.Match 7: Sting (c) vs Hulk Hogan for the WCW Championship - Hogan comes out and lays down for Sting. Sting then scores the pinfall to retain. Huge waste.Match 8: Sid Vicious (c) vs Goldberg for the United States Heavyweight Championship - It was booked very well considering that both were huge big man draws for WCW. Sid was out to be the next Goldberg and Goldberg taking offense to that went on the attack. It was very short and honestly live up to my expectations. Goldberg is able to win his second U.S. title by technical knockout on Sid.Match 9: Diamond Dallas Page vs Ric Flair in a Strap Match - Pretty boring throughout most of the match. It was passable, but not worth checking out ten years later. DDP lands a Diamond Cutter on Flair for the win.Match 10: Sting (c) vs Goldberg for the WCW Championship - Sting holds an open challenge for the belt and Goldberg accepts it. The match only went about 3 or 4 minutes and Goldberg eventually hoisted up Sting to win two titles in one night. Great ending, but the next night on Nitro we see Goldberg get stripped of the title.
