Anachronisms

The sequel is supposed to be set three years after the original, making it 2013. However, as the camera pans over China Town, we see the banners for the 2008 New Year celebrations.

Character error

When Damien breaks a Chinese vase, the fat Chinese mobster says "this a 12th Century Ming vase" (and Damien replies that the true one has been returned to the museum). Actually, the Ming dynasty began in the 14th Century.

Continuity

When Leito jumps onto the roof holding the pipe from the antenna it flexes, showing it to be rubber or plastic. Shortly thereafter he uses it to slide between two cables and it is stiff again.

(at around 50 mins) When Gassman leaves the Ministery he gets into a Mercedes with license plate "654 EGT 75". In the next shot, the license plate has changed to "388 EGU 75".

Factual errors

When Letto pulls the cable from the laptop into the server it leads directly into a hard drive, on servers there are no cables at all that lead into hard drives from the front, ever. Also, he simply pulls the hard drive out of the casing, each hard drive is help in with 4 screws, it is impossible to simply pull it out of its case.

Revealing mistakes

When Leito shows Damien the memory card containing the video of DISS agents killing the two cops, you can see that the card is actually just an empty micro SD to SD card adapter.
At one point, the main character is using what seems like a monocular telescope to oversee the situation. The next shot confirms this when the screen shows as if you were looking through one. However, the device used is not a telescope, but a night vision monocular. Not only the model can be recognized (it's of "Yukon" brand), but also the 2nd (smaller) lens on the device, which is actually a IR emitter. Using this device at day will not allow to see very much. Moreover, the following shot of the telescope view should be green because thats what one sees when viewing in night vision.
After Damien climbs into his house and he turns on the CD player you can see that in the player there is no CD, but later it shows the player reading a CD.
