I started watching season one in the summer of 2007, after season six and before season 7. I was hooked and within 3 weeks, had bought all of the seasons available at the time (1-5), then I downloaded season 6 on Itunes. Anyway, the strike team story was my main reason for watching it, even though I love some of the other characters as well. I, like everyone, wonder how it will all end for Vic, Shane, Ronnie and really everyone. Anyone could be killed off at any moment. This first episode had a different affect on me than I had expected. Ronnie has officially crossed the line by executing the Armenian hit-man. Up until now we haven't known a whole lot about him. He is professional, in control, and very loyal, or so he seems. Maybe we don't know him at all. I think making the hit may have changed him. He may even be the one who kills Vic or Shane. The other thing that happened was I was almost sympathizing with Shane (even though I wanted to kill him myself after what he did to Lem). I felt that was unforgivable and that he deserves to die after that. Is there such a thing as redemption? Could he end up being better than Vic? I don't blame Vic at all, he was reacting to a threat on his family. Ronnie I guess was also protecting Vic's family. Several of the main actors look a little heavier/older than they should but the acting is excellent and full of depth. I can't wait to see where this all goes.
