It is Kate's turn to have a day out with the girls - the twins, and 3 of the sextuplets. They go to a pottery painting studio. The girls get to pick out 2 pieces each to paint. Before they leave, Kate says it will just be "another mess. I don't enjoy it." Then we see a montage of Kate meltdowns when she has been faced with a mess that requires cleaning. Then she says "cleanliness, organization and order... now THAT excites me". Well, that's great Kate, but in the meantime, you will miss a lot of the joy from being a mom, which often involves messiness! This is the first time Kate has taken all the girls by herself. As she is sitting in the van in the driveway getting ready to leave, she is yelling at Jon to get her this and get her that. First it's the potty chair, then some flip-flops. Then she throws shoes out the window on the ground, instead of handing them to Jon. Pretty rude! After she drives off, Jon announces "The queen has left the building"!
Jon takes the 3 boys to the gym while the girls are gone. He works out with his trainer, while the kids play in the kid area with the babysitters. Jon later tells Kate that he is the only male client his trainer has. She says "So, she's going to turn you into a woman?" Poor Jon... no respect.
At the pottery studio, the kids and Kate have a great time. The girls are amazingly quiet and focused on their painting. Kate is also focused on the vase she is doing and doesn't even fret over any messes. She later confesses she didn't even look up much or the messes might have freaked her out.
When the boys follow their dad of the gym, Jon's trainer, Karen, says they look like a daddy duck with his "goslings". This is too cute since their last name is Gosselin. This should become their family mascot!
