In 1999 the Rahmanis and their three children emigrated to Switzerland during the NATO bombing in Serbia. After years of living in their new homeland, the family faces the prospects of deportation.

Made by a crew that came from 3 continents and 14 countries. All Swiss interiors were shot in Skopje, Macedonia. The role of Principle Milich, a Serbian speaking character, was acted by Enver Petrovci, a renown Albanian speaking actor from Kosovo. Actor Serge Riaboukine was cast to play a Francophone role which was cut out for budgetary reasons. The role was reduced and played by French Albanian actor Arben Bajraktaraj - not in the final version of the film. The film was not distributed in Switzerland because it didn't get a Certificate of Origin. See more
