Trivia
During filming,
Jimmy Smits accidentally picked up a real knife that had been left on set instead of a prop knife and stabbed stuntman
Jeff Chase in the heart. Miraculously, Smits hit a small plastic cover that had been affixed to Chase, and Chase was badly bruised but otherwise uninjured. Chase later noted that they had done 10 takes of the scene--where his character was tied up and about to be killed Dexter-style by Smits' Miguel Prado--and Smits had only hit his mark with the prop knife in two of them.

The episode evolves around Miguel asking for Dexter's help once again to rid Miami from another Mal-doing thug, but with a twist- he wishes to do the killing himself, under Dexter's guidance.
A fantastic episode. Well written, well directed. Jimmy Smits (Miguel) delivers his most convincing act to date. The episode bounces from tension, characters developing, shocking story developing and even humor breaks (by Ritta's pregnancy hormones) gently and with efficiency.
Next episodes will have to try hard to top this one, but considering the ending of the episode, the climax is just ahead.
