Tedious and unconvincing

Low, low budget amateur drama about rich guys, the kind of stuff that gets entered in second tier film festivals. The characters appear to be hobby actors and are not very experienced. Lines are delivered badly or fluffed yet the take is used. The plot wanders here and there with apparent ad lib dialog. Much unconvincing "speaking for the record" dialog that takes far too long to get to the point, scenes are bridged with titles "the next day", "one week later" all very clumsy. And the titles look like they were made with the character generator that comes with the camera....it's shot on video. The sets are borrowed offices and homes, interiors only, we never see the outside. Wardrobe must be the actors personal clothing. These guys are high-roller big shots and they dress like car salesmen. Music score is a guy playing an acoustic guitar.....endlessly. Sound seems to be shot with the camcorder mic, quality varies from room to room, lots of echo, some of the dialog is hard to make out. And for good measure, the aspect ratio is 3:4. I'm sure the film....er...tape-makers worked hard on this and maybe their next production will be better. But this is nothing but a student film that only their friends and professor should watch all the way through.

I rate it at 1 since I can't go any lower!!!

It would be difficult to write required 10 lines but will try.

Story - Extremely stupid. A 10 year old school kid can do a better job. Direction - None ! Maybe the photographer did the whole job. Acting - Dumb. Any amateur can do a better job. Characters - How can anyone worth a Million dollars be so stupid or gullible? They are supposed to be making million dollar deals which means they are able to talk people into their schemes. In other words street smart & smooth talkers. One has to be a moron to not be able to tell when a person is not dead.

I wish I was in the town they lived in. If they can make millions I can make Billions.

great potential

The overall storyline of this movie is great. plenty of twists with the plot and the "who dunnit". This movie could be ten times what it appears with a bigger budget and crew. As with many indie films, you can lose sight of the story and writing quality by the lighting and editing. more money can often solve these issues, even Star Wars would look horrible if on a super small budget. Anyway.... this writer and crew could surely benefit from a bigger budget, maybe a director of photography, assistant director...who knows. Bottom line is, great potential for the creators. Story is worth watching. crew is worth investing in.
