Storyline
David McGregor's family owns an oil firm and the vast Rivercross estate in Alberta. His late father however donated the original land to the Henrys. The heiress and her all-female offspring refuse to sell it back, although they can barely scrape together payments on the mortgage David bought. David's sons, responsible lawyer Will and immature horse-wrangler Peter, would prefer to be friends with their neighbors, each having a soft spot for a Henry girl. David's daughter Rebecca is a schemer herself, planning a loveless marriage to politician Trevor. Written by

I may be addicted to this show. Its like a new Canadian 'Dallas' - a little more sex, better scenery (cause its in Calgary) and some really good actors. First and foremost - Gary Hudson - aka, JR, aka the patriarch of the McGregor family. He plays that character so well. I have seen him in a number of shows and never disappoints. Great facial expressions, lines delivered really well and he is going to be one of those characters that you love to hate - and hate to love.
Maggie is also a great character - as are her daughters. And the youngest is an up and comer for sure.
Looking forward to watching every Tuesday!
