Sonia Deol read the latest news headlines and Liam Dutton forecast the Weather. Author Bill Bryson, Dail Mail journalist Ann Leslie and Conservative Eric Pickles MP reviewed the Sunday news papers with Andrew Marr. Former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott MP, talked to Andrew about his, recently published auto-biography, which details his struggle with bulimia and his work in office which included being peace keeper between former Prime Minister Tony Blair and current Prime Minister Gordon Brown MP. Also, he gave Andrew his opinions about Gordon Brown MP, the current state of the Labour government and the current economic woes. Writer Gore Vidal talked to Andrew about he current political situation in the United States and gave his views about each of the presidential candidates. Health Secretary Alan Johnson MP talked to Andrew about the current problems facing the Labour party and what needs to be done from now to regain the initiative.
