Goofs

When Billy is in the Corsica Casino, just before he splits a hand of black jack with the blond casino patron, Courtney, the pan of the casino clearly shows "Montecito" slot machines left over from the "Las Vegas" series. Also, the first close up of the blackjack table shows the first portion of the "Montecito" logo. In the next shot of the table, the logo has changed to a "Corsica" logo and the ATM in the background has a "Corsica" logo, too. See more »

Blood of the Scribe
28 November 2010 | by (Finland) – See all my reviews

This week on Knight Rider: Ripping off Reservoir Dogs! Except that the movie was hard boiled crime and this is sanitized buffoonery. Who's plot is this? I want blood!

However, there are mitigating circumstances. I actually laughed at two points where the script was *intended* to elicit laughs from the viewer. That's two more than any previous episode has managed! +1 star. And why is it that guest star Gretchen Egolf at 35 manages to be more sexy than the twenty-something regulars in this show? Essence. Something Deanna Russo is seriously lacking. Anyway, this is the same cheap, moronic (the "weapons expert" introduction defies belief, it's so bad) and boring show as before. You know the show is dire when KITT's previously poor, cheaply done CGI transformation happens off-screen this time. Any moments that actually work are according to the laws of probability mere statistical aberrations, sort of reverses of the probability that a Joss Whedon show or a Christopher Nolan movie will suck. So, while this episode is an improvement - actually the best episode so far - that isn't such a reach since *anything* would be an improvement after the previous week's total disaster.
