Continuity

When Dorian stops in front of the theater playing "Hamlet," the barker tells him that he has only missed a little of the play, but when he goes to take his seat, it is already in Act III.

Factual errors

In the opening shot, horse drawn carriages travel along a London street. The film is set in the 1890s but the road is smoothly tarmacked, a surface treatment invented in 1902 and only commercialised some years later.

Miscellaneous

When Dorian is fighting Jim in the train station tunnel, the sleepers and spikes are visible. The spikes seen were not in use in 1890 when the novel was written, nor the era when the film is set.
