Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

Second goriest in the series.

In one of the traps, two people are forced to give flesh and blood off their own body in order to save their own lives. They graphically take off pieces of their skin, and after the man gives a huge flap of skin, the woman graphically cuts off her own arm, and the trap graphically kills the man, and the woman escapes.

In one trap, a man is killed by two spikes driving into his body and destroying many central systems in his body, killing him.

The scene with the crushed body of Agent Strahm is disturbing. Insides & bones are seen.

In one trap, a man has his ribcage pressed inwards, until it graphically compresses fully and is crushed, killing the man.

A person is hanged on a noose made from barbed wire.

A man is shot in the head with rather graphic and bloody results

In probably one of the most infamous traps of the movie, there is a carousel type trap with six people tied onto the carousel, and a pump action shotgun is rigged to go off, loaded with six rounds for the six people. The main character can only save two of them, and in order to do so, must push both buttons in the box when the carousel gets to the person he wants to save, but, his hand gets impaled with a small spike both times he presses the two buttons to save the two people he wanted. On the other hand, one of the people is shot with the shotgun while praying for mercy, blood splattering onto the other people, and leaving a gaping hole in the man's chest. The first woman is spared, the shotgun facing upwards and firing off the shot harmlessly. Then, very quickly, two others, both male, are shot dead with a shotgun, gaping holes left in their chests. Then, it gets to the second woman, and he decides to save her as well. Then, while the carousel is getting to the man who will be the last to die, he lets out an insane amount of profanity before the shotgun pumps and blows a huge gaping hole in his chest, killing him.

At the film's climax, a man finally reaches the end, but, the trapped characters are left with a choice. Either forgive the main character, or pull down a lever and let something random and unknown happen. The female cannot pull the lever, but the boy does, and above comes down syringes filled with hydrofluoric acid, and stabs the main character in the back. Slowly, but very brutally and graphically, the main character melts, his insides and organs melting and falling into a pile of melted flesh and bone. Horribly graphic and bloody. The most graphic scene in the film.

A man's throat is slit with a knife.

A woman is stabbed multiple times.

Half of a mans' jaw is ripped apart.

Very profane.

Some alcohol is drank in the film, but it doesn't play a large part in the film.

7/10 (For intensity; the movie is not frightening)

The entire movie is very frightening, gloomy, & sadistic.

The traps may frighten some people.

The extreme amounts of blood, bloodletting and gore may disturb people.

The atmosphere regarding Jigsaw and how Hoffman extorted Amanda is very suspensive.

Agent Perez gets a knife driven to her abdomen (extreme close-ups are shown via grotesque effects), the scene is bloody and disturbing.

William's death is unsettling and graphic.

Hoffman is tied by Jill into a chair, and gets a reverse bear trap onto his head, he first breaks his arm and tries to remove the trap, he fails but places the trap into a window, so it doesn't go off completely, he's shown with a torn-up mouth with blood/flesh dripping out.

Total - 24/50
