Jack Carter says "Save Fargo, save the town" this is a play on the line from Heroes (2006) "Save the cheerleader, save the world"
Queen Nyota. Possibly a tip of the hat to Nyota Uhura, the communications officer on the USS Enterprise of STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES fame.
During an early scene in "Show Me The Mummy!" Henry (Joe Morton) says "Fargo, if it was any bigger, it'd cover the whole building." This is a continuation of a joke that started in the previous episode ("I Do Over"). In that episode, Carter (Colin Ferguson) says to Stark (Ed Quinn), "Does your ego even fit
in this building?" Later in that same episode Stark replies to a question by Carter, "My ego's bigger than the building, remember?" Pointedly, the comment by Henry in "Show Me The Mummy" was about the size of Stark's engraved name in memory of his death in "I Do Over."
This Episode's title comes from the catch phrase from "Jerry Maguire" (1996) "Show me the money!"
In every movie, TV show and historical presentation of mummified remains in sarcophagus has a body prepared, e.g., gauze bandages. VIOLATING this common premise, a FAKE mystery of a missing female mummy streaking naked about Fargo is created.
A Mummy Queen unprepared for the nether world is Egyptian sacrilege. The mystery's conclusion ends up sheer mockery.
