Ryan Gosling’s Greatest Hits Of 2011: Breaking Up Fights And Winning Hearts, One Ab At A Time

23 December 2011 6:00 AM, PST | TheFabLife - Movies | See recent TheFabLife - Movies news »

The ridiculously charming and talented Ryan Gosling has had one hell of a 2011. The Gos has seemingly banged out what seems like a 100 movies, hauled his scruffy dog George around the talk show circuit, kept the peace on NYC streets, and snagged a beautiful girlfriend – Eva Mendes. Gosling hasn’t been this hot since The Notebook, and it seems his star is only getting brighter. Hey girl, let’s all give ourselves a glorious gift this holiday season and recap the ways Gosling won our heart.

Gosling kicked off the year in truly gorgeous fashion..rocking a sleek velvet suit at the Globes.

Evan Rachel Wood showed major restraint on the set of Ides of March.

Ryan was rumored to be dating Olivia Wilde sometime around March. She was seen hanging out in Ohio…conveniently where Ides of March was filming.

While in Ohio, Gosling paid a visit to The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens, »

Watch: Louis C.K. Reveals Plans For His $1 Million

22 December 2011 8:29 AM, PST | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

Continuing to prove that he's one of the most real comedians that has ever lived, Louis C.K. revealed some pretty noble plans this week for the $1 million he's made so far selling his Beacon Theatre special online.

On Wednesday night's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," C.K. wrote off his $1 million in sales -- the first million he's ever had all at once, he admitted -- as just "a $5 impulse that 220,000 people had." And to continue not giving himself too much credit, he announced that the money would be divided up between paying for the special's production costs ($250,000), giving his entire staff healthy bonuses (another $250,000), donating to five different charities ($280,000) and finally, using the remaining $220,000 to do something -- we don't know -- with his stomach.

Maybe lipo. Maybe just a really good sandwich.

The charities to which C.K. is donating over a quarter of his earnings are the Fistula Foundation which helps women, »

Tom Cruise Throws Wreaths With Fallon Then Links Up With Katie and Suri

21 December 2011 6:42 AM, PST | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Tom Cruise swung by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon yesterday to chat up Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. The actor was even up for one of Jimmy's out-there challenges, and the guys played a round of the "wreath toss" game. Tom's wife Katie Holmes, meanwhile, treated herself to an afternoon of theater. She checked out The Cherry Orchard on Broadway then returned to her hotel to link up with daughter Suri. Tom, Katie, and Suri have been in the Big Apple for the past week, celebrating Katie's 33rd birthday Sunday and enjoying an adults-only evening out Monday at the MI4 premiere. Their city time has come to an end, though, since the trio left town in a helicopter late last night. View Slideshow › »

TV Bosses Rein In Roots Drummer

15 December 2011 8:01 AM, PST | WENN | See recent WENN news »

The Roots drummer Questlove has been forced to notify chat show bosses at NBC of his song choices in advance after he was recently reprimanded for apparently mocking U.S. politician Michele Bachmann on air.

NBC staff are now vetting all setlists from the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon band after Questlove and his fellow musicians performed Fishbone's Lyin' A** Bitch as Republican presidential candidate Bachmann walked on to the show.

Questlove has since apologised for the incident but in an interview on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club he insisted he would "let the snark fly".

He added, "They're not going to censor me. I would have done it for any politician."

Despite standing firm, the drummer is now required to clear all his choices with show producers to avoid further embarrassment.

In an interview with Associated Press, he said, "It's still a comedy show, so they promise not to step on my toes or that type of thing, but they definitely want to know the title of the song, the subject matter of the song - can it be seen as an insult?

"It was kind of wrong of me to throw (NBC) under the bus without telling them what it was, so I understand from a business standpoint."

NBC bosses have since sent a written apology to Minnesota congresswoman Bachmann. »

Watch: Brian Grazer Didn't Think Tom Hanks Would Make It

14 December 2011 2:53 PM, PST | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

Champion producer Brian Grazer gets a little closer with his audience by answering a selection of fans' twitter questions on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Shot in what looks like a backstage room and wearing a nicely tailored suit, Grazer answers questions that range from his most embarrassing career moment (it involves the Oscars, which he happens to produce this year) to actors he most wants to work with (are we surprised? It's Michelle Williams.).

Brian Grazer has been nominated for 4 Oscars, and won in 2002 for "A Beautiful Mind". He has worked with some of Hollywood's true greats, including Johhny Depp (on Depp's first film), Tom Hanks (watch the clip to hear Grazer's initial thoughts on Hanks' career) and most recently, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Clint Eastwood on "J. Edgar".

Other recognizable faces who have participated in the Twitter Questions section for Jimmy Fallon include Jessica Simpson, Steven Tyler and even Kermit The Frog. »
