Another Random Holiday Video: Jimmy Fallon And Dee Snider Rock Out To “Silver Bells”

24 December 2010 1:27 PM, PST | Mediaite - TV | See recent Mediaite - TV news »

Recently, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon has become the place on network TV for great musical performances (take that, Glee!). When you've got The Roots there every single night, that shouldn't be surprising. We've already brought you Fallon's Blue Man Group-inspired "Little Drummer Boy" with Jack Black, but somehow we missed out on his rocking version o "Silver Bells" with none other than Twisted Sister's Dee Snider! Fortunately, Christmas isn't over and there's still time! »

Did You Know – James Earl Jones’ Measly Salary For “Star Wars”

24 December 2010 12:08 PM, PST | ShadowAndAct | See recent ShadowAndAct news »

I had no idea James Earl Jones’ salary for providing the voice of Darth Vader in George Lucas’s original film (Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope) was a measly $7,000. But that’s what he revealed last night while on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote Broadway’s Driving Miss Daisy, which he stars in.

Jones did say during the interview that his Star Wars salary “was big money for me in those days; I was broke.”

When host Fallon then asked if he had any idea at the time that the movie was going to be the mega success it became, Jones replied, “No. Had I had an idea, I would’ve gotten a better contract.”

Indeed, indeed! Adjusted for inflation, $7,000 in 1977 would be about $25,000 today. A decent sum of cash, but, damn, no residuals? Did George Lucas hook him up later? We’re talking about »

Watch: Jónsi’s ‘Sticks & Stones’ Music Video For ‘How To Train Your Dragon’

22 December 2010 11:44 AM, PST | The Film Stage | See recent The Film Stage news »

We can never have enough How To Train Your Dragon in our lives, so I present to you the official music video for the Best Original Song contender, Sticks & Stones. It is written/performed by Sigur Rós‘ lead Jónsi.

Co-director Dean DeBlois previously helmed one of my favorite music documentaries, Heima, featuring Sigur Rós. They continued their relationship for this animated feature. John Powell‘s score was one of the best of the year, but Jónsi‘s accompaniment was a perfect mix. He stopped by the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon as well, and we posted that video earlier.

Check out the music video below via We Are Move Geeks. It doesn’t present anything new, but its a great chance to revisit some of the best moments from the film.

How To Train Your Dragon is being turned into a cartoon series, with a Cartoon Network premiere sometime in »

Watch ‘Robert Pattinson’ Admit He Hates Christmas Shopping & Thinks It’s Stupid!

22 December 2010 11:06 AM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

But no matter how much Christmas bothers ‘R-Patz,’ he’s still getting K-Stew an X-Box 360!

Robert Pattinson is bothered! The Breaking Dawn star climbed up a tree Dec. 21 on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to discuss why he despises Christmas shopping! Ok, we kid — Rob isn’t actually the one in the tree dissing Christmas, but Jimmy Fallon did a hilarious job mocking the gorgeous Brit! Even though Rob girlfriend Kristen Stewart will be apart this year, we bet he has gifts for his lady love wrapped and ready!

Watch the clip from Late Night and tell us what you think!

'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon': 'Robert Is Bothered' by Christmas

21 December 2010 7:49 AM, PST | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

"Robert Pattinson" is up in his tree again, which means that Robert Is Bothered.

In the latest rant from everybody's favorite emo vampire, Robert is bothered by Christmas and all its festive trappings. His objections to the holiday season aired on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Monday (Dec. 20).

Among Robert's objections:

Christmas shopping: "Happy Christmas -- I got you a present. Oh, what is it? It's $7,000 in credit card debt!"Mall Santas: "You take your child to see some man in a red sweatsuit -- some fat drifter who doesn't have a job -- and you sit your child on his lap and he promises your child toys? Great parenting!""White Christmas": "Racist."

And after all that, Kristen doesn't even like the present he got her. Bothered, indeed. »

'Bothered' Video: Jimmy Fallon Spoofs Robert Pattinson for Christmas

21 December 2010 1:56 AM, PST | Celebrity Mania | See recent Celebrity Mania news »

Jimmy Fallon is back with his "Bothered" sketch. During his "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" show on Monday night, December 20, the former star of "Saturday Night Live" aired the newest edition of his satiric portrayal of Robert Pattinson. This time around, his fake Robert get upset over Christmas.

In the clip, the 36-year-old perches on a tree with his favorite black book on hand as he exclaims, "Christmas shopping bothers me! Christmas shopping is stupid." After grumbling about the difficulties he has to deal with just to "buy a present I can't afford for people I don't like", he bitterly takes aim at Santa Clause and the Christmas carols.

Prior to this clip, Jimmy has done similar sketch that pokes fun at Halloween, Valentine's Day and the World Cup. His 2009 Halloween sketch saw the comedian as Robert complaining on which part of the holiday bothered him. "Costumes are stupid," he said at the time. »

Jessica Alba 'used to go all-out at clubs'

14 December 2010 8:40 AM, PST | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - Movie News news »

Jessica Alba showed off her dance moves during an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. The actress was promoting her new movie Little Fockers on the NBC show when Fallon questioned if she still went to clubs. "I feel so old when I go to clubs," she replied. "It's so weird. Everyone is 16! I used to clear the floor, go all out, do routines!" Fallon's band then started to play which encouraged Alba to give an impromptu demonstration of her dancing skills. "I don't know what came over me!" she joked afterward. (more) »

'Uncharted 3' Gameplay Debuts On Jimmy Fallon

14 December 2010 8:32 AM, PST | MTV Multiplayer | See recent MTV Multiplayer news »

The world got a look at some desert landscapes and quick in-game clips from "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception" over the weekend, but only Jimmy Fallon got the privilege of actually picking up a controller. The Naughty Dog crew brought a burning château level onto his show, and though Fallon didn't seem to be very nimble with the controls despite his familiarity with "Uncharted 2," he did give it a go and fall through a collapsing wooden floor while cracking the kind of jokes you will only hear on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

Naughty Dog co-presidents Evan Wells Christophe Balestra guided him through the brief adventure, as Drake and Sully ran around navigating a residential inferno.

The fire effects and gameplay look really crisp, and Fallon's segment gave a much better feel for the title than the teaser from the Vga's Saturday. They didn't say much about what's doing on with Sully, »
