In the scene where Jane is in her bathtub talking to Jake, the lit candle in the bathroom window moves back and forth between different camera angles revealing that the scene was done with different takes.
When Jake is spying on Jane and Adam at her house, he peeks through bushes growing outside her kitchen window. But from inside the kitchen, his head is fully visible in the window with no bushes to be seen.
In the scene where Jane is discussing her situation with her psychiatrist, the part in her hair jumps from the middle to the side several times when the camera shot changes from the psychiatrist back to Jane.
Towards the end of the movie when Jane and Jake are sitting on the swing, the chain links behind Jane move, in some scenes there are 2 extra links hanging, others show 1 hanging, and some show no extra links.
In the scene where Gabby is about to leave home for College she sits in the Toyota Prius and the steering wheel is upright, when the camera returns to her the steering wheel has turned and is almost upside down.
At the beginning of the movie when the Adlers toast their friends' anniversary, Mrs. Adler no. 2 approaches. Jane Adler is polite, but she decides it's time to go. She holds a glass for a toast, but when she turns to leave, the glass is no longer in her hand, and there is no table or waiter nearby.
Two issues about the Croque Monsieur that Jane has prepared for Adam and her. She takes the food from the oven and serves it. A little time passes while they chat and eat and Jane removes pan no. 2 of the Croque Monsieur without a sign that she'd made two batches. When Jake arrives and sees that Jane has company, he sneaks up the driveway and watches them through the window. Later, he tells Jane that Adam must be interested in her. He noticed Adam watching her butt while she took the food from the oven. HOWEVER, Jane has removed the food from the oven before Jake arrived. By the way, Meryl Streep has a very strange way of scooping the Croque Monsieur (glorified sandwiches) from the pan. It occurs to me that she accidentally uses some of Julia Child's mannerisms in the kitchen since she worked on both movies on 2009.
In the part of the movie where Jane waits outside the Santa Barbara Medical Building for her therapist, there is a sign that says Mission Pharmacy. In real life it is a restaurant called The Wine Cask. You can see wine bottles displayed through the glass door of the supposed pharmacy.
