In the penultimate episode of this season, we see Chief Pope announcing that Priority Homicide will be dismantled after a critical news report that says the department favors white victims. Brenda agonizes over the decision, but depend upon her to find a way to turn the decision to her advantage.In the meantime, she is trying to find out who killed two Mexican cops and find a suspect that is being hidden in a church. Her intense efforts expose those in the pay of the Mexican drug cartel and she exercises a bit of justice that may rub some the wrong way.There is only one episode left and we will have to suffer another drought without Brenda.
