"She just lost the plot"
skteosk24 June 2008
Warning: Spoilers
A worryingly convincing portrayal of the thin line between mania and manic.Previously calm and collected Christine becomes increasingly agitated as she becomes aware just how much opposition there is to her before finally transforming into a hate-filled sociopath. We get our first glimpse at her home life, with her disinterested husband and pointless crusades.Martin should probably have had a word about her blatantly breaking the guidelines although at least he has the decency to step in once Morag speaks up.Like Leah though, it's Melody we're seriously worrying about as the credits roll.

Paralleling this story of fragile women we have the increasing tragedy of Viv, going into hiding not from her psychotic husband but from her own weakness.Ric and Matilda continue to show their continued maturity in their calm dealing of the situation and it's to be hoped they get something approaching a happy ending.

Meanwhile, the appearance of a dodgy character inciting teen rebellion at the Den just screams set-up.Leah probably chose the wrong night to be absent.
