the best movies almost happens by chance - to me while channel hopping at night. the topic of this reality-documentary is quite similar to 'wickie, slime and paiper' but without any of these famous items of the 70s. replaced by 'blochin, dkp and Vietnam'. a successful mixture of irony and history - captivating. one had heard rumors about communist families in the 1960s and 70s but never known anybody out of such surrounding. you will be told about life as a boy in a 'revolutionary' family. a boy that was not different to other kids his age but with his idols DDR, Moscow and the soccer-team of dynamo Kiev - right in the middle of west-Germany! paired with private S8-tapings and some out of TV-news of these days. a very likable movie.
