The Incredibles 2 Trailer Is Finally Here
We may never get a good Fantastic Four movie, but Disney is giving us the next best thing. Arguably a much better thing. After more than a decade, we finally have our first look at Pixar's The Incredibles 2. Though, we don't get to see much. Director Brad Bird is finally returning to the world he created in 2004 by bringing us one of the most highly-anticipated superhero movies of 2018. And considering that Avengers: Infinity War is also coming out next year, that is a bold statement. But a deservedly bold statement. Disney released a synopsis for the movie along with an image and poster.

"Everyone's favorite family of superheroes is back in Incredibles 2 but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life.

Tom Cruise injured as stunt goes wrong by Jennie Kermode - 2017-08-14 12:51:07

Cruise in action in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol

Tom Cruise was injured yesterday when a stunt he was filming for Mission: Impossible 6 went wrong. Footage of the incident, obtained by TMZ, shows the 55 year old actor rigged up for a scene in which he jumps from one building to the roof of another. Too low down as he reaches the second building, he hits the side of it, taking the impact against his chest and legs.

The severity of Cruise's injuries is not yet known. Though clearly in pain and limping hard, he was able to move back across the space to the platform on the first building, where he received assistance.

Cruise is unusual in doing almost all his own stunts, something producers discourage because it can dramatically increase the insurance needed for a film - if a star is badly hurt, a whole project may need to be scrapped.

The Incredibles 2 Begins Immediately After The First Film

  • LRM Online
Hollywood seems dead set on reviving or sequelizing pretty much every property under the sun, but for the longest time it seemed like there would be one beloved film that would go on unacknowledged and left to sit alone on its shelf, and that was Pixar’s 2004 film, The Incredibles. While a sequel seemed like a good proposition, it didn’t help that its creator, filmmaker Brad Bird went on to the world of live-action with movies like Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and Tomorrowland. With the more big budget fare on the horizon, it seemed like fans would have to be okay moving forward without another movie.

But what exactly would an Incredibles 2 entail? Plus, given how long it’s been since the first one (13 years), what would be the timeline? Would it take place in real time, kind of like how the Toy Story series did, or would

Paula Patton Pens Emotional Tribute to Former Father-in-Law Alan Thicke
Paula Patton is still mourning the loss of beloved actor Alan Thicke.

The 41-year-old actress was especially close to Alan, given that he was her former father-in-law. Paula married the Growing Pains star's son, singer Robin Thicke, in 2005 -- after the two had dated since their teenage years -- though they separated in February 2014 after 21 years together.

"I knew Alan since I was 15 years old and he had a tremendous effect on my life," Paula Instagrammed on Tuesday alongside a picture of a smiling Alan. "I loved and respected him so much! So many great memories and laughs together. We will miss him so much! His grandson is quite sure he is still here with us in spirit."

Will Avengers 3 Keep Jeremy Renner Out of Mission: Impossible 6?

Will Avengers 3 Keep Jeremy Renner Out of Mission: Impossible 6?
Most actors working today would kill to be part of one major franchise. Jeremy Renner is lucky enough to be part of two. He is currently playing Hawkeye in The Avengers movies, in addition to showing up from time to time in other Marvel Cinematic Universe adventures, as well as playing Brandt in the Mission: Impossible franchise alongside Tom Cruise. Unfortunately for him, one franchise may be keeping him from the other in the near future.

The actor recently spoke with Collider about his latest movie Arrival. At the end of the interview, he was asked about the status of both Avengers: Infinity War and Mission: Impossible 6. He seemed very optimistic and enthused about Avengers, but also noted that because of scheduling, his participation in Mission: Impossible 6 isn't a sure thing at this point. Here is what he had to say.

"M:i 6, I'm not sure what's happening. I

Made In Prague highlights by Amber Wilkinson

Happy End

The Czech Republic hosts one of the key film festivals of the calendar, with Karlovy Vary widely considered to be a launch pad for new work from eastern Europe. The country has also proved a magnet for blockbusters in recent years, with many Hollywood productions heading to the Barrandov Studios in Prague, among others, to shoot films including Snowpiercer, Child 44 and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. Despite this, and strong domestic film production and attendance, it can still be hard for UK audiences to get to see new movies from the country on the big screen.

For two decades, the London Czech Centre’s Made in Prague Festival has been aiming to change that, showcasing films from the country – along with a host of additional arts events. This year, the festival runs from November 5 to December 2, with screenings at venues including the Barbican, Regent...

Incredibles 2 Gets Pushed Up A Year, Toy Story 4 Pushed Back

  • LRM Online

There’s no denying that Pixar is the home to countless animated classics. From Toy Story to Finding Nemo and Wall-e, there’s no shortage of good, tear-jerking content to wade through. Many fans have lamented the fact that, in recent years, Pixar has resorted to making sequels to films no one asked for — Cars 2 and Monsters University are probably the biggest offenders there — all the while ignoring one film that simply begs for a sequel: The Incredibles.

Writer/director Brad Bird stepped into Pixar, made a couple solid flicks, and then jumped into live-action directing, putting out such movies as Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and Tomorrowland. It seemed like he’d potentially be on track to stick to live-action films for the rest of his career. But about a year ago, on the heels of Tomorrowland’s disappointing release, it was announced that

Brad Bird Gives Brief Update On The Incredibles 2

Speaking to Entertanment Weekly, director Brad Bird was careful not to give away any spoilers regarding the plot of The Incedibles 2 but did reveal that he's made significant progress on the story. “I don’t like unwrapping presents before Christmas,” said the Tomorrowland and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol director. He continued, "It’s very actively moving, and we’re excited about it. [We’re] trying to take it in some new directions. Hopefully it’s the same characters and feel, but going in a new direction. I mean, that’s the trick with a sequel. It’s repeating yourself, without repeating yourself." The Incredibles 2 is currently slated to arrive in theaters on June 21, 2019. It will compete against the Justice League sequel (06/14/19) and Transformers 7 (06/28/19) during the Summer box office season.

Prep Work On Mission: Impossible 6 Halted Until Salary Negotiations Are Complete

  • LRM Online
Somehow, Mission: Impossible is one of those few series that gets better with each new entry. After the utterly humorless Mission: Impossible III, the series took a more lighthearted turn with Brad Bird's live-action debut, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. That trend continued in last year's Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, which was directed by Jack Reacher director, Christopher McQuarrie.

Reception for Rogue Nation was universally praised by fans and critics alike, and Paramount Pictures seemed to take that as a hint that they should capitalize on its success by beginning production on the next film in the franchise as soon as humanly possible with the same director attached -- which is a series first. The film was set to begin production this fall, but now a report from Deadline seems to indicate that the next Mission: Impossible film may be facing its first obstacle.

According to the outlet,
