Cruise in action in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
Tom Cruise was injured yesterday when a stunt he was filming for Mission: Impossible 6 went wrong. Footage of the incident, obtained by TMZ, shows the 55 year old actor rigged up for a scene in which he jumps from one building to the roof of another. Too low down as he reaches the second building, he hits the side of it, taking the impact against his chest and legs.
The severity of Cruise's injuries is not yet known. Though clearly in pain and limping hard, he was able to move back across the space to the platform on the first building, where he received assistance.
Cruise is unusual in doing almost all his own stunts, something producers discourage because it can dramatically increase the insurance needed for a film - if a star is badly hurt, a whole project may need to be scrapped. »

“I was lucky on this one. The script came to me and they said that they would like for me to play the role [of Laura] if I was interested. It moved my spirit and my soul and for me, these shows -- or any kind of project -- I really want to shoot something that I’d want to watch as well,” Patton tells Et exclusively. “It’s a role that will stretch you or challenge you or »
Tom Cruise knows to keep it fresh when you're kissing on camera!
Paula Patton was on Live With Kelly and Ryan on Friday, where she was to reminisce about on-screen kisses past, and had especially kind things to say about her lip-locking partner in 2011's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.
"It was great," the 41-year-old actress recalled. "I will tell you that the kiss from Tom Cruise was a surprise."

Hollywood seems dead set on reviving or sequelizing pretty much every property under the sun, but for the longest time it seemed like there would be one beloved film that would go on unacknowledged and left to sit alone on its shelf, and that was Pixar’s 2004 film, The Incredibles. While a sequel seemed like a good proposition, it didn’t help that its creator, filmmaker Brad Bird went on to the world of live-action with movies like Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and Tomorrowland. With the more big budget fare on the horizon, it seemed like fans would have to be okay moving forward without another movie.
But what exactly would an Incredibles 2 entail? Plus, given how long it’s been since the first one (13 years), what would be the timeline? Would it take place in real time, kind of like how the Toy Story series did, or would »

Over the past handful of years, J.J. Abrams has made it clear that he is a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood. He may not always make perfect movies, but he has proven that he can tap into what the public really wants to see and has had a lot of success rebooting and reviving beloved properties. He could easily make that his business for the rest of his days, but after the success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he has decided that he is done with sequels and reboots.
The director spoke with People after the Golden Globes recently, since he was there for his role as a producer on HBO's Westworld. During the chat, J.J.
