The Weinstein Company has released the first trailer for McDonald’s biopic The Founder starring Michael Keaton and Laura Dern. Film is directed by The Blind Side and Saving Mr. Banks helmer John Lee Hancock.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Written by Robert Siegel (Big Fan), The Founder is a drama that tells the true story of how Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton), a salesman from Illinois, met Mac and Dick McDonald, who were running a burger operation in 1950s Southern California. Kroc was impressed by the brothers’ speedy system of making the food and saw franchise potential. He maneuvered himself into a position to be able to pull the company from the brothers and create a billion-dollar empire.

Michael Keaton Builds a Fast Food Empire in First Trailer For ‘The Founder’

21 April 2016 6:39 AM, PDT | The Film Stage | See recent The Film Stage news »

Continuing his comeback streak following Birdman, Michael Keaton once again led a Best Picture-winning feature with last year’s Spotlight. He’s back this year with The Founder, a true story drama which depicts the creation of the ubiquitous fast food empire McDonalds. Ahead of a summer release from The Weinstein Company, the first trailer has now arrived.

Directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) and written by Robert D. Siegel (Big Fan), the helmer is mostly known for his awards-friendly features which don’t always have a lasting impact, but perhaps the darker side of the writer will pull out something special. Also starring Nick Offerman, Linda Cardellini, Laura Dern, Bj Novak, and John Caroll Lynch, check out the trailer below.

“Don’t try to be me. Be yourself” – Srk

It is finally almost time to see the King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan in a double role.

The upcoming Fan is the story of Gaurav (Srk) becoming dangerously obsessed with his all time hero film star Aryan Khanna (Srk). Is this film highlighting the dangers of idolising film stars? Is it a film star’s perspective on calling out for privacy? Or is this film a study into the human psyche? We will soon find out on April the 15th, 2016.

Meanwhile, we at BollySpice had the chance to join in the #UKFanTakeover and attend a press conference with both Gaurav and Srk. Mind you, Gaurav was in wax figure form and our superstar Srk was kept safe! Madame Tussauds in London have transformed the wax figure of Srk into the much anticipated stalker, Gaurav.

First Bite. Will "The Founder" Serve Tasty Drama?

29 March 2016 10:42 AM, PDT | FilmExperience | See recent FilmExperience news »

As iconic logos go, it's impossible to beat those golden arches. Smart teaser work, then, to instantly brand your movie. On the other hand...

Does McDonalds really scream "Major Motion Picture" or will it have people thinking i saw a doc about that once.

The presence of the newly dazzling Michael Keaton (quite a comeback these past two years!) should help win the film attention. Keaton is the businessman who wrestled away control of McDonalds in the 1950s and made it into an empire... but not without a lot of behind the scenes drama apparently. The supporting cast includes John Carrol Lynch and Nick Offerman as the actual McDonald brothers, and Laura Dern as Keaton's wife. Patrick Wilson and Linda Cardellini play another couple though we're not sure how they fit into the story. The film opens on August 5th from the Weinstein Co who keep claiming they're determined to »

Kim Kardashian Wants to Battle You in new Game Show “Big Fan”

22 March 2016 5:05 AM, PDT | | See recent news »

It was only a matter of time before Kim Kardashian branched out and decided to be on a television show other than “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” In fact, it’s amazing to me that it’s taken this long for her to come around. But don’t be fooled. This isn’t her own show. She’s just making an appearance.   Khloe’s show is looking like a complete bust and it’s only a matter of time before younger sisters Kylie and Kendall take over the throne.  But you can be sure by sheer power of her social media accounts that the show “Big Fan

Jimmy Kimmel’s ‘Who Knows’ to Become a Game Show, Meaning Your Useless Celebrity Knowledge Is Now Slightly Less Useless

8 February 2016 1:24 PM, PST | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

With the smashing success of Spike's Lip Sync Battle, other networks are raiding the closets of the late-night Jimmys in search of more gamified celebrity whimsy to spin into ratings gold: Variety reports that ABC has ordered up a series version of Jimmy Kimmel's "Who Knows," a game-show segment that tests whether stars can press a buzzer faster than their most knowledgeable fans. It'll be called Big Fan, and the new name brings a slew of other changes: Andy Richter will take over hosting duties, and the famous person will now be competing to answer questions about themselves with not one but three of their fans. That's three times as many chances to monetize your knowledge of the name of Taylor Swift's high-school Bff. (Abigail, duh.) »
