Boyd continues to dig away, and discover who it was that killed Dearden, and why.
I can take or leave this story, this time round, I enjoyed it. It's very dark, it's very deep, and I understand why some fans aren't always so fussed about it. It has no lighter side at all, the tone, story and outcome are all very bleak. I find the ending very sad.
We have a very different Boyd here, for so long he's been angry, petulant and confrontational, with Luke back in his life and suffering, we have a very haunted Boyd here.
Lorcan Cranitch is excellent here, that showdown between Boyd and Victor Coleridge is excellent.
It has a very different tone. 7/10.
