David Frishberg originally wrote a song called "World Without Verbs" that would have shown without verbs, there would not be much action. However, after Bob Dorough wrote the more action-oriented "Verb: That's What's Happening", Frishberg's song was rejected. Frishberg would later go on to write the famous "I'm Just a Bill" as well as songs for "Money Rock".
