Parents Guide for
Extract (2009) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

Contains some sexual references throughout the film, including uses of anatomical terms.

In order to justify having an affair due to his wife withholding intimacy from him, a man hires a gigolo posing as a pool boy, to have sex with her. In an over-the-top flashback sequence, the gigolo is seen flirting and loosening a woman's bra, however, the flashback ends there.

It is implied that two characters have sex, however, nothing is depicted on-screen aside from a brief moment of fully clothed kissing.

Violence & Gore

A projectile shoots through a man's testicle. In slow motion, he writhes in pain and falls to the ground. The injury is referenced many times as a source of humor.

A man is punched in the face, however, the actual impact is not depicted on-screen (the screen becomes black and fades to the next scene). The resulting bruise is visible in subsequent scenes.

Profanity

Contains a few uses of the word "fuck" and its variants. Also contains occasional use of milder terms throughout the film (e.g. "shit", "asshole", "balls" etc.).

References are made to a death metal band known as "God's Cock" which may offend some viewers.

In one scene, two characters inhale from an exceptionally long bong and are then seen exhaling. The actual use of the bong is shown in relatively strong detail.

Contains numerous references to drugs and drug misuse as a character boasts a container featuring an assortment of drugs, including Xanax and horse tranquilisers etc.

This film does not contain any material that is likely to frighten or cause distress.
