Storyline
Lion-O is haunted by the recurring nightmares of Thunderians being killed on Thundera while he fled to the safety of Third Earth with Jaga and the other ThunderCats. Jaga later tells Lion-O that 3 more Thundercats have, in fact, survived and are also living on Third Earth. The ThunderCats decide to search for the 3 new Thunderians, but Mumm-Ra has plans as well and takes the new Thunderians as his prisoners to Fire Rock Mountain. Lion-O loses the Sword of Omens in an avalanche while Panthro battles the Fist-Pounder with the ThunderTank as the ThunderCats close in on rescuing the Thunderians from Fire Rock Mountain, but they'll need supernatural help if they are to pass through the Thundranium gasses to reach them. Goofs
The Berserkers drowned at the end of "The Terror of Hammerhand", which was why Mumm-Ra raised Hammerhand's spirit from the ocean in "Spitting Image", but here they are shown to be alive as though this never happened.

Originally released as a TV movie, "Thundercats HO!" was later split up into 5 separate episodes which became the beginning episodes of the second season of the animated show. In the movie, Lion-O learns that there are three Thunderians who survived the explosion that destroyed their home planet of Thundera and that they are now on Third Earth. The Thundercats thus embark on a mission to locate the Thunderians. However, their mortal enemy, Mumm-ra, spares no effort to thwart the Thundercats' quest.
Apart from the Thundercats and Mumm-ra, the movie boasts a massive cast of returning characters from the first season as well as introducing a host of new characters. Everything about this movie is top-notch. Good animation, clever storyline, interesting characters and great action sequences, this is a must-watch for all Thundercats fans.
