In China, the Mongols wait to ambush the young prince when he ventures out of the walled city. But Huck, Tom and Becky see the ambush and warn off the prince and his elephant rider. The Mongols are furious and capture the trio. Tom, in the heat of the moment, pretends to know how to get into the walled city. The Mongols present him and the others to Xaon, the All-Powerful Khan. Tom quickly remembers the story of the Trojan Horse and tells it to the khan. The Mongols build one, and Xaon puts Tom inside. Tom is to open the gates by midnight, or he'll execute Huck and Becky. The people in the city accept the gift of the Trojan horse, but discover Tom inside it. The ruler calls Tom "The Divine One" and holds him prisoner, believing his presence will keep the city safe. Time is running out for Huck and Becky as midnight approaches. But an annoying pooch will prove more useful than he at first seemed. Written by J. Spurlin
