Warning: Spoilers
After the death of brother Philip, and his friend Andy Wilson, Larry is now certain Philip's death was not suicide. Believing the answer lies in the Royal Falcon Hotel where Philip was found, Larry sets up a meeting with Mrs Curtis. Larry speaks with her, and her stepbrother Thomas Quayle. Larry doesn't learn much until a later meeting with former Hotel guest Dr Linderhof who explains he'd overheard Mrs Curtis talking with Philip in his room just hours before his death. Larry arranges another meeting with her, in which she's almost knocked down, both she and Thomas are desperate to get hold of a key that Larry is now in possession of. Larry later visits Thomas at his shop, he admits Philip was murdered, and is soon murdered himself.

A great second episode, as Durbridge does so well the plot gets deeper and more complex. It seems everyone is hiding something, but who is hiding the darkest secret of all.

The acting continues to be rather good, Denis Quilley is wonderful as Larry, such a strong lead actor. A word also for David William, such a short stint on the show, but gave the character of Thomas some real interest. That's now three dead victims, with number four very close, it's quite a dangerous place to be.

Again the music is so good, so wonderfully sixties. Part three please..
