Rumble Fish, Francis Ford Coppola’s Young Adult tone poem, unspools in a black and white never-never land of sullen teens, pool tables and pompadours. It may take a moment for the audience to suss out that we’re not in the Eisenhower era with Chuck Berry, Marilyn Monroe and the Cold War but squarely in Reagan’s domain of MTV, Madonna and the Cold War.

Set in a destitute Oklahoma town with the ghost of The Last Picture Show whistling through its empty streets, Matt Dillon plays Rusty, an inveterate gang-banger growing up in the shadow of his older brother played by Mickey Rourke, a reformed juvenile »

Nathan Fillion’s Suave Charmer Sterling Rolls Out Of The Showroom In New Pic For Cars 3

24 April 2017 12:37 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

From Castle to Slither, Serenity to Firefly, few actors are held in such high regard as Nathan Fillion. For the legions of Browncoats out there, Fillion will forever be known as Malcolm Reynolds, the swashbuckling pilot who captured our imagination throughout Joss Whedon’s aforementioned sci-fi series before it was unceremoniously pulled off the airwaves more than a decade ago.

The actor has remained a fixture on screens big and small ever since though, and fans of all things Pixar will soon be able to see – or rather hear – Fillion in Brian Fee’s animated threequel, Cars 3. Per Entertainment Weekly, we now know his character to be Sterling, a “suave chief executive coupe who becomes the new sponsor of once-glorious racer Lightning McQueen.” EW’s reveal was accompanied by our first look at Sterling in action, who can be seen imparting wisdom and advice to Owen Wilson’s down-on-his-luck stock car. »

Certain actors have such a loving fan base they could leap into a volcano only to be followed by a parade of Twitter followers and stalkers. Nathan Fillion of Firefly and Castle fame is one of those actors, and needless to say fans went bonkers when he posted a picture of himself on the set of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, in full costume, hinting at a scene of his that was unfortunatley cut.  Sadly,... Coming Distractions: Aubrey Plaza and Alison Brie are sisters of controversy in The Little Hours red-band trailer

18 April 2017 1:02 PM, PDT | avclub.com | See recent The AV Club news »

The eightscore young blondes and brunettes of Monty Python And The Holy Grail’s Castle Anthrax have some serious competition in the red-band trailer for The Little Hours, the “unapologetically raunchy” medieval comedy that debuted at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, and Kate Micucci star as sisters Alessandra, Fernanda, and Ginevra, three foul-mouthed nuns who wile away their days rolling their eyes in confession, hurling obscenities at the peasant who works at their convent, and fighting amongst themselves. That is, until the arrival of handsome new day laborer Masseto (Dave Franco), whose presence makes the convent explode into what the official description calls “a whirlwind of pansexual horniness, substance abuse, and wicked revelry.”

Based on a bawdy tale from the 14-century Italian collection The Decameron, The Little Hours has already been condemned by the Catholic League as “pure trash,” giving heathens yet another reason to »

Just how worried should fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine be about whether Gina Linetti survived that bus accident? We posed that very question to co-creator Dan Goor ahead of Tuesday’s spring premiere (8/7c, Fox).

“On a scale from 1-10, where 10 is the highest, I would say [fans] should be at like a 7,” Goor tells TVLine. “We saw a city bus hit a human being… it’s a legitimate concern.” (Ruh-roh!)

The Most Terrifying Character in 13 Reasons Why Got His Start on Glee

7 April 2017 1:38 PM, PDT | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

Image Source: Netflix Of all the characters on 13 Reasons Why, few are as quietly terrifying as popular jock Bryce Walker. The drama follows high school student Clay (Dylan Minnette) after he receives a box of tapes from classmate Hannah Baker, who killed herself a few weeks earlier. On the tapes are the 13 reasons why she decided to commit suicide, each corresponding to a different person at the school. Bryce is a huge part of why she did what she did, and if you couldn't help but feel you'd seen the actor before while watching, you're definitely not alone. Signing on to play a character as despicable as Bryce can't have been a decision made lightly, but Justin Prentice - who was bullied himself as a kid - has had plenty of experience under his belt thus far in his career. WB Announces Wonder Woman: Commemorative Edition On Blu-Ray

29 March 2017 10:09 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

With the Wonder Woman live action movie set to arrive in theaters in just over two months, it’s understandable that Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment will want to put out as much merchandise bearing the likeness of the Amazon Princess as possible. One item in particular that’s worthy of attention is that of the forthcoming Wonder Woman: Commemorative Edition.

Truth be told, it’s technically not a new offering, but rather a repackaging of the amazing animated film originally released back in 2009. Unfortunately, no R-rated cut will be included as was previously reported. Despite any second guessing you may have, do know that one exists out there somewhere, as the filmmakers have admitted they had to make some alterations in order to get the PG-13 rating because, at the time, WB didn’t afford as much leeway with mature content as they do now.

Aquaman Delayed Again, Will Now Face Off Against Spider-Man

16 March 2017 3:10 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Back in December, Warner Bros. pushed its highly-anticipated Aquaman movie by more than a year, from its original release date of July 27, 2017 to October 5, 2018. Production is reportedly set to begin this summer in Australia, under the direction of James Wan, but now it seems the studio is delaying Aquaman even further. The studio has pushed Aquaman from its October 5, 2018 date, to December 21, 2018.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that the studio is taking over the same date that Avatar 2 was originally scheduled for. Last week, James Cameron announced that his sequel won't hit that 2018 date as previously planned. Right now, Aquaman will be going up against Sony's untitled animated Spider-Man movie, while falling between a few more highly-anticipated releases. Aquaman will arrive one week after Universal's Mortal Engines on December 14, and a week before Disney's Mary Poppins Returns hits on Christmas Day. This new Aquaman date marks the first time that »
