Al Lewis is back reprising his role as Grandpa, this time to host a series of horror movies every Saturday on TBS Superstation called "Super Scary Saturday". Grandpa introduces each episode with information about the featured monsters for the week's particular movie. Some of the WCW wrestlers also make cameo appearances promoting their favorite monster from the featured movie as well. Written by

Being a kid in the 1980's, my exposure to horror films came after our purchase of a C-Band BUD(Big Ugly Dish). I religiously watched this show every Saturday on TBS, which featured Al Lewis from the Munsters, hosting horror films every Saturday morning. The only drawback of this show was that every other episode was usually a Godzilla movie. However, this program also featured films not seen on TV today, such as the original Willard, or many of the great Hammer horror films that featured Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Excellent effort, the forerunner of "Monstervision" on TBS's sister station, TNT. Time Warner and other cable networks strongly need to bring programming of this caliber back to TV.
