Goofs

When Terence and Tinkerbell first wind up the "motor" to the PixieDust Express near the beginning of the movie, it is shown that they use a paper clip and line to keep tension on the card-blades of the motor, to keep it from unwinding. However, considering the direction of rotation that they wound up the motor, the card-blades should have been pulling in the OPPOSITE direction/rotation of the winding, and not in the same direction, as presented. Unexpected Gem of a Real Movie
21 May 2010 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I second what most of these reviews seem to say.

Surprisingly great movie. Watched it with my 4 year old daughter expecting another god-awful kids movie that unquestionably scars their subconscious in some way I haven't even thought of. Instead, found myself enjoying the hero quest - as much as if I were watching Visionquest with Fiorentino.

A real movie, stunningly unexpected given the lameness of its progenitor.

I am amazed this has not received more attention. It's definitely and outlier in the genre.
