Did You Know?

Amber's line "Well, you can't always get what you want" is the production staff referring back to the first and last episodes of the first season of House, where the song You Can't Always Get What You Want by The Rolling Stones was mentioned and played. This song is also featured in the first episode of the third season. See more »

When Foreman and Taub turn Amber to check the small of her back, Foreman switches from Amber's right side to join Taub on her left side, pushing on her leg to roll her over. For patient safety, either doctor would have grasped at the patient's shoulder and hip, turning Amber toward them (so she doesn't roll off the bed) while the other doctor checks her back. Thirteen: He told me I was raised by wolves and that's why I use the same hand for my fork and knife.

Couldn't compose myself for quite a while afterward
15 September 2008 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I was crying long after this episode ended. ME! I never cry; my friends call me the "ice queen." I just couldn't stop thinking about it. The last scene with Wilson and Amber...then the note when he gets home...ugh! Later, when my boyfriend got home, I was trying to describe it to him, and I couldn't even talk because I just kept crying...I kept trying to tell him, "I kept thinking, 'What if that was me and you..'" Ack, I'm getting teary just thinking about it now! And, oh, Dr. House....if you need any consolation...;')...giggle...all in all, it's not very often I'm glued to the set. Excellent performances by all. Can't wait for next season!
