Season Two
19 May 2008 | by (prejudicemadeplausible.wordpress.com) – See all my reviews

Season Two of "Skins" is effectively the last season of the 'original generation'. It was a smart decision to stray away from the typical 'let's follow them into university/adult life' routine because this is a show about teenagers and that's how it should always be. Apparently season three will feature Effy, so there's always a way to tie up loose ends with beloved characters from the first two seasons (did Sid ever find Cassie?).

This season of "Skins" was more inconsistent than the first but also had far more depth and quality in its writing than in the first season. Episodes 7 and 9 in particular were brilliant. More depth, more character development make season two of Skins a less consistent but more rewarding experience than one.

7.9/10 (season average rating)
