Curiosity Schedules an Adjustment and Adjusts a Schedule
WeatherViolet27 October 2010
First, in the City, the Man with the Yellow Hat packs up plenty of Curious George's belongings because Curious George's belongings take up a lot of space. So, the Man with the Yellow Hat asks Curious George if he feels certain that he doesn't want to give things away because Curious George won't use most of his things, but Curious George insists upon storing them all inside of the basement of Apartment Building 7.

Now, as the Doorman and Hundley the Doorman's Dachshund prepare to help Curious George to find basement storage space, a screeching sound indicates that Apartment 301's doorbell is stuck again, so The Doorman responds, asking Hundley to assist Curious George to carry and to store boxes of belongings into the basement.

Well, once inside the basement, Curious George decides to play paddle ball, while Hundley searches for space, causing Hundley to fear the basement and to retreat back upstairs into the lobby, where Curious George follows him to figure what's wrong, as the Man with the Yellow Hat descends via the elevator, retrieving more boxes from the apartment, and asking why Curious George and Hundley aren't performing their designated tasks.

And, once again, while Curious George tries to figure the source of Hundley's fears, as he searches the basement for things to fear, they hear a creepy noise, causing both to rush back upstairs into the lobby, where The Doorman and the Man with the Yellow Hat attempt to accompany them back downstairs, but The Doorman has to await Doorbell Repairman, and so the Man with the Yellow Hat carries Curious George and Hundley into the basement to search.

But later, when the mysterious noise returns, Curious George devises a plan to wrap scarfs around the ears of Hundley the Doorman's Dachshund and himself, as they return to determine that the noise seems to originate from every conceivable direction, and so they return to the lobby, to face the Man with the Yellow Hat, who carries more belongings from the elevator.

Then, the ever-prepared Curious George, who saves everything because you never know when you might need it, unpacks, to carry a fishing rod and a tape recorder to divide the basement into four sections, to cast his fishing line into each quadrant, and to record the sounds from each of the four sections. Upon replaying the tape, Curious George and Hundley determine that the source of the noise originates from the section of the basement nearest his boxes.

So, Curious George and Hundley the Doorman's Dachshund coax The Doorman and the Man with the Yellow Hat into the basement to investigate the loud box, which Hundley bravely shoves from the stack, for Curious George to peek inside the open box to discover the source of the problem, before The Doorman and Hundley exodus the basement, as the door locks behind them, to leave Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat stranded inside, but will Hundley the Doorman's Dachshund therefore remain the only "Scaredy Dog?"

-----

Next, also in the City, Spring has arrived, and so it's the prefect day for Curious George to play outdoors with Charkie the black Cocker Spaniel and Gnocchi, Chef Pisghetti's pet Cat, or at least until the Man with the Yellow Hat asks Curious George to return to the apartment because it's 7:30 PM and bedtime even though there's still plenty of sunlight outside because of the expanding daylight of seasonal change.

Yet, once inside his room, while Curious George cannot sleep, he tries to count sheep to help him to doze, but he perceives that the sheep are having plenty of fun frolicking outside in the sunlight.

Now, the next morning, the Man with the Yellow Hat replaces clock batteries inside Olga the Yodeling Clock and explains to Curious George that he is able to advance the time or to rewind the clock ... which just may soon prove quite the mistake to teach, because when the Man with the Yellow Hat visits Professor Wiseman at Museum of Science to discuss present ideas for Curious George, she tells him that he has just missed Mr. Roughweek, owner of Roughweek Blimp, which flies across the City before sunset.

Well, Curious George plays with Charkie the black Cocker Spaniel and Gnocchi, Chef Pisghetti's pet Cat, but at 7:30, it's time again for Curious George to turn in, but while the Man with the Yellow Hat isn't watching, Curious George cleverly rewinds the clock to 6:30, to achieve an extra hour of outdoor play time.

Then, the next morning, the Man with the Yellow Hat arrives late for his appointment with Professor Wiseman, who informs him that Mister Roughweek left an hour ago, and now the Man with the Yellow Hat has missed the opportunity to ask him about a blimp ride.

But Curious George is up to his tricks again, and, once again, the next morning, the Man with the Yellow Hat arrives late for his appointment with Professor Wiseman, missing Mr. Roughweek again, two hours late in the process.

And then, Mr. Reloj the Clockmaker adjusts Olga the Yodeling Clock and returns the Man with the Yellow Hat's wristwatch and alarm clock, but this time, the Man with the Yellow Hat catches Curious George in the act of rewinding Olga the Yodeling Clock!

So, now that the Man with the Yellow Hat carefully synchronizes his three timepieces, will Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat finally arrive at Museum of Science on time the next morning, to meet Mr. Roughweek, who plans to fly out of Cleveland, but if a blimp has a monkey, then will Mr. Roughweek be willing to fly inside his Blimp with Curious George, Professor Wiseman and the Man with the Yellow Hat, and, if so, then what time will Professor Wiseman and the Man with the Yellow Hat have to "Say Goodnight, George?"
