Storyline

Allison dreams of a sexy, attractive woman who seems to be an expert at picking up men in bars and then killing them. The murders are quite violent but when the police finally arrest the woman in Allison has seen in dreams, she turns out to be a best-selling author on how to meet the opposite sex. But is she the killer? Nice "Bait And Switch"...

Writer Davah Avena takes the old "Basic Instinct" gambit and puts a lovely spin on it, "Alison Dubois-style." I was wondering how they were going to get Rosanna on the show, and this story makes it easy: she gets to have the best of both worlds. Playing a "killer cougar" on one hand, and then doing the sexy-but-scatterbrained thing (her specialty) on the other.

The 'big reveal' turns out to be something of a cliché nowadays, but it's done in such a clever way that you don't really mind it. (And you didn't REALLY think I was going to tell you what it is, did you?)

Okay, so I will only give you one clue - the tagline from a poster for Brian de Palma's BODY DOUBLE: "You can't believe everything you see."
