Same story different location.

The episode begins with Binghamton issuing an order that there would be no fraternizing with the locals. If anyone is caught with locals charges could be brought upon any sailor that violates the order. Needless to say, this order is not like by either the men or the locals. Binghamton is a dislike man in town.

Even with the order, a young local girl, Gina, ask McHale to give her one wish. She wants to marry her sweetheart, who happens to be an Italian soldier, before he is sent away to prison camp. McHale reluctantly agrees but can only perform the wedding on the boat. This is to be kept a secret as not to arise suspicion from Binghamton.

But the Mayor of the town invites the entire village. And with McHale only thinking it will be a few people, it ends up with the entire town wanting to get on McHale's boat. And with the under-secretary making a visit to the village, Binghamton could be in hot water since the citizens of the town dislike his actions. It looks bad for McHale and Binghamton if they cannot come together over this incident.

This was another basic story that really did not cause too much stir while watching. Even with the fine acting the plot was basically the same as the first three season with the exception of using Italian natives over island natives. It was the same story but different location. Was glad to see that Peggy Mondo was able to make the transition from Little flower on the shores of Taratupa to an Italian mother on the streets of Voltafiore.
