"Archenemy: The Philistines" is episode of the Mysteries Of The Bible that investigates about the enemies of the Israelites particularly the Philistines with whom they have had a lot of battles with.Richard Kiley provides the narrative while Jean Simmons quotes words from the Holy Bible. Interviews from experts like Walter Zanger, Dr. Trude Dothan, Barry M. Gitlen, Robert Stieglitz, Seymour Gitin, Daniel L. Smith- Christopher were included.

It was interesting episode as it tries to dig deeper about the Philistines for they were a big part in the history of the Chosen People from the time of the judges such as Gideon and Samson up to the time of King David.The experts discuss these people and the battles with the Israelites that took place.Finally,the experts also discussed on their sudden disappearance.
