In the last scene of the film, when Lt. Macklin first places his hands on the coffin, his left hand is unbandaged. The next shot shows this scene from a different angle, and the hand is bandaged.

Near the end of the film, Lt. Sean Macklin hands over the footage to Alvaro Cardona. Cardona clearly has a bullet wound and blood spatter on this right shoulder. Then, in the next scene he is wearing a uniform with no wound. Also the placement of all the characters in these two shots change drastically. Most notably is the distance change between Cardona and LT. Macklin.

Factual errors

A scene at the beginning of the movie depicts Bogota as a sub-tropical city as can be concluded by the clothing worn in the park scene, whereas Bogota is actually rather cold all-year round.

Toward the beginning of the film, the lieutenant before walking into the commanders office was saluted by a sailor. Per regulation, neither sailors nor Marines salute indoors while uncovered (not wearing their uniform cover (hat)).

When they are getting ready for the HALO jump in the first part of the movie, they not wearing their oxygen masks and all yell "for God and country". SOP strictly states in any HALO jump, oxygen must be worn thirty minutes prior to and during the jump. This is to saturate the body with oxygen and remove nitrogen. Even a short time of being off the oxygen would make them strongly at risk for the diving malady, "the bends". This is when nitrogen bubbles form in the blood causing severe discomfort and a strong risk of death. As these jumps are made upwards of thirty thousand feet, the air is very thin and true operators would never take that chance, even more so to put an operation in jeopardy.

"Throughout the movie, the team members are seen taken out one by one, and almost all of of the fatal shots hit the vests. The enemies were using M16s and their rounds does not have enough power to penetrate those vests"

Revealing mistakes

When Alvaro Cardona brings food to Kevin Derricks while captured, the food is in a McDonald's bag. The fries are in a McDonald's carton, but the wrapper is a counterfeit McDonald's wrapper. In no country do they offer any sandwich that comes in a tin foil wrapper with red lettering on it (like Wendy's). McDonald's only offers paper wrappers and of course for the upper echelon sandwiches, the box.

At the first of the movie when Alvaro Cardona, Maria Cardona ant their son are walking through the street markets the bomb explodes at the USA Boot company. When you see the explosion hit Alvaro Cardona and their son you can clearly see those two are mannequins and the rest of the people caught in the explosion are real people.
