Storyline

Amsterdam overhears a homeless man, Mick, trying to report a homicide of his friend Ollie, also homeless, to Det. Santori. Mick mentions that Ollie was in AA, and wouldn't have ODed, as was the reported cause of death. Santori is less than sympathetic, and TASERs Mick when he becomes a little agitated. Amsterdam takes over the case, and discovers that Ollie was a musician (a guitarist). He also finds that Ollie couldn't have injected himself, as the handedness was incorrect. Further investigation finds clues to a new homeless shelter that has just opened across the street from the park where Ollie died, as well as near the AA meetings where he attended. This brings back memories for Amsterdam of how he got involved with AA (15,000+ days sober). Written by Tony-B4
