I get why this one is forgotten about.

Two Pakistani men illegally arrive in London, the father and son pose as Dutchmen, Mr Rembrandt and Mr van Gogh, and instantly run into problems as they try to get food and find their lodgings.

I had never heard of this show, and can understand why the ill fated sitcom ran into a wealth of problems. This pilot was transmitted, the series that follow was never put out, too much even for 1975? I think so.

Even the late and great Spike Milligan couldn't save it, similar to Curry and Chips, almost every character is a white actor doing black face, or having some sort of makeup, it's too much even for 1975.

If you are sensitive to prejudicial, offensive and racist language, I'd urge you to avoid, as there is a lot of it here.

That old saying..... it feels like something from the seventies, well this certainly does, lots of the humour is cringeworthy and just not very funny, but there are some very amusing one liners, normally about Mrs Thatcher, that you can't help but snigger at.

I was curious to see it, as it is a rarity, and will watch more, but this first one, not sure I can say it's one I'd return to.

No Spike Milligan's finest hour.

5/10.
