Crazy Willie

Ted and Stella have been dating for two months, and things are going well except they haven't slept together yet. Ted isn't too concerned as he wants to do it with her only when the time is right for both of them. But he learns from Stella that she is indeed a bit apprehensive about doing it since it's been five years since her last sexual encounter. This fact makes Ted also a little apprehensive since he's afraid that he won't measure up to her five year old expectation, so Marshall tells Ted to lower her expectation. But when they do decide that the time is right, Ted may have jeopardized the opportunity. Meanwhile, Ted still isn't speaking to Barney since he slept with Robin. As such, Barney is looking for a new wing man to replace Ted. He thinks he has the pick of any bro, but he ends up having only one applicant, his overly enthusiastic but slightly nerdish co-worker Randy. Barney thinks he can overcome Randy's shortcomings to make him the best wing man ever. It isn't until ... Written by Huggo

Rebound Bro (#3.18)
16 July 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

So Barney and Ted are still not friends and barney is looking for a new wingman. It is a bit sad to see how many of the cool guys from his life fell into marriage and having babies. I could feel his disappointment. So he has to go with a less cool guy, Randy. At first I wondered what made him think that Ted was such a great wingman, I never thought he was close to Barney in it, but as he explains Ted was even worse, Barney made him greater. Will Forte is great at this part. He very funnily performs that loser guy who wants to be as great as Barney. The scenes with him in the bar were hilarious, I especially laughed about him getting nose bleed when getting an erection. And the great thing is that Barney still manages to get somebody for him. I also was happy to see Robin still showing friendship to Barney.

Ted's story with Stella also has fun moments, mainly thanks to Lily and Marshall. The fun was mainly when they were busted for knowing how long she didn't have sex and also when Marshall was looking up what was going on at the year she last had sex.
